I tried Selling on amazing, a set of fire light bulbs that had so many other sellers that I was only able to sell around 40 in 6 months because I lowered the price so extremely low. I also didn't know how important back linking was to something online. especially if your page has nothing. My page was barren and had no reviews or anything that told the search engines that this was a valid and highly sought after product so it didn't get much "juice" to the page. I am learning how important that is to a page and am using that almost every day along with my daily duties as an insurance agent.
I am working on getting that product back on to amazon so I can kind of just get rid of it but it's really important to do this well in order to have a successful product on amazon. I'm sure there are tons of other things that would work to sell on amazon, but I am just not really willing to learn what there, hence, I'm not going into being an amazon seller anymore. But I am really glad I learned because I am learning something else with my business that eventually will pay off in the end. It may take time but I am just going to stay consistent.
That's the key to success I think is being diligent and finding something that will work better than anything else. If you can't get an edge in your market or niche it's really hard to have success or you will just be mediocre or just survive. I am looking for that edge that will put me to number one and just sticking to it until it works.
Thanks for letting me post.
